About Housetto

Home care, from a homeowner’s perspective.

Housetto brings appliance information, home records, and maintenance tasks together. The guides help homeowners understand what to check, what to record, and when to get help.

People and perspective

Who writes these guides?

Logan

Logan is a homeowner and the independent developer behind Housetto. These guides are written for other homeowners, not as licensed contractor advice.

That connection matters when reading about the app: Housetto publishes this website, and its author develops the product. App recommendations and comparisons reflect that perspective.

Using the guides

The library covers seasonal care, appliances, home systems, warranties, inventory, and the first year of homeownership. Use it to plan questions and organize records alongside the instructions for your own home and equipment.

Where a guide links to a manufacturer, public agency, or other source, follow that link for the original context. A general checklist cannot account for every model, installation, climate, or local requirement.

Manufacturer instructions, applicable local requirements, and qualified advice for your property take priority over a general guide. For work involving gas, live electrical parts, refrigerant, pressure, structural damage, or unsafe access, use qualified local help.

Questions and corrections
